Project Open Wardrobe serves individuals and families of all ages who lack consistent access to adequate clothing. We exist to support those who are often overlooked, children, adults, and families navigating financial hardship, instability, or transition. Every person we serve is met with dignity, respect, and compassion, because we believe each individual is made in the image of God and worthy of care.
We serve by providing quality clothing in a way that honors both need and humanity. Our approach is rooted in service, not charity, offering clothing as an act of obedience to Christ’s call to love and serve others. We seek to meet tangible needs while affirming personal worth, ensuring that those we serve are not reduced to their circumstances. Through generosity, intentional care, and faithful stewardship, Project Open Wardrobe exists to reflect God’s love through practical action.

Project Open Wardrobe is a nonprofit dedicated to providing clothing to individuals and families in need by redistributing donated apparel to underserved communities.
We are based in Starkville, Mississippi, and serve nearby communities as well as the Greater Jackson and Grenada areas.
We accept used clothing in good condition. Items should be wearable and appropriate for everyday use.
Yes. Financial donations help us cover operating costs such as transportation, storage, and outreach.
Donations are sorted and redistributed directly to individuals and organizations that serve people in need. We aim to work alongside local schools, shelters, churches, and community groups.
